During his tenure at BMCC, combo guard
Quran Dublin earned numerous individual accolades as he led the Panthers men's basketball team to consecutive CUNY Athletic Conference Championships in 2018 and 2019. After being named CUNYAC Player of the Year, Tournament MVP and All-Region First team in each of his first two seasons, Dublin received national recognition this week when the NJCAA released the list of All-Americans for the 2018-19 season.
In his sophomore campaign Dublin averaged 24.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting at a 56.3% clip. His percentage from three point range (50.3%) was the 4
th highest percentage in the country and with 24.6 points he ranked among the top 10 players in the nation in scoring. He finished his career at BMCC as the all-time leading scorer with 1159 points, while placing fourth in school history in steals and third in assists.
Dublin was one of two players from Region 15 to earn a spot on an All-American Team, joining Steven Tynes of Suffolk County Community College. For a full list of NJCAA All-Americans, click
