Panthers Bash Broncos

NEW YORK, NY -  The BMCC Panthers Men's Basketball team defended home court in their final regular season game at home bashing the Broncos of Bronx Community College by a final score of 90-67 following 54-point second half.  Offensively, the Panthers were once again led by sophomore Brandon Duran (New York, New York) who scored a game-high 30 points including 8 three pointers; which pushes him into a tie for 5th place all-time in career 3-pointers at BMCC.  Playing in hif final regular season home game on Chambers Street was sophomore Tyleek Turner (Brooklyn, New York) who finished with a career-high double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds in 24 minutes of play.  Joining Duran offensively, was his back court mate Jayport Smith (Bronx, New York) who finished with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists; including a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe.  The offensive attack from the Panthers proved to be too much for the Broncos to handle!
