FLUSHING, N.Y. (Feb. 14, 2019) - On Thursday, the City University of New York Athletic Conference announced its 2018-19 Community College Men's Basketball All-Star selections, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.

BMCC sophomore standout Quran Dublin repeated as the Player of the Year. Bronx's Tilquan Rucker won Rookie of the Year honors. Hostos' Marquee Poole was named the Coach of the Year.

Player of the Year - Quran Dublin, So, G, BMCC
Dublin continues to be the driving force behind the Panthers' success. He ranks as the league's second-leading scorer at 24.3 points per game and leads the CUNYAC and Region XV in three-point field-goal percentage (.497) and free-throw percentage (.895). Additionally, Dublin ranks in the Top 10 nationally for each of those three statistical categories.

Of his 22 games played in the regular season, Dublin scored in double figures in all but two contests. He recorded back-to-back 40-plus performances against Orange and Kingsborough in January and had five games of 30 points or more this season.

Rookie of the Year - Tilquan Rucker, Fr, G, Bronx
Rucker has had a sensational debut season for the Broncos. He currently leads all of NJCAA Division III in total points (704), field goals made (275) and steals (119). Rucker also ranks second amongst the nation's leaders in scoring with a conference-best clip of 29.0.

A five-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week selection, Rucker has finished with double-digit points in every game he has appeared in this year. That includes three 40-point efforts, highlighted by a tournament-record 49 points in the CUNYAC Championship semifinals, breaking a 27-year-old conference mark.

Coach of the Year - Marquee Poole, Hostos
In his fifth season at the helm of the Caimans, Poole led Hostos to its first CUNYAC regular-season championship since 2016 and its first appearance in the CUNYAC Championship final since 2014. His guidance has helped the Caimans in leading the country in defensive rebounds per game and steals per game.
