FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 12, 2017)Â - On Monday, top-seeded Borough of Manhattan Community College and second-seeded Queensborough Community College will face off for the 2017 CUNYAC/USS Community College Soccer Championship at 7 p.m. at the Metropolitan Oval in Maspeth.
It is the fourth-consecutive year that the two programs will meet for the title. In two of the previous three contests, the victor has won by two goals or less.
BMCC, which hoisted the 2016 CUNYAC trophy last October with a 4-0 win over Queensborough, boasts an undefeated record of 10-0 with a 3-0 mark in league play this season.
Additionally, the Panthers have outscored their opposition by an overwhelming 53-6 count (five shutouts) and recently cracked the Top-10 of the NJCAA Division III National Poll with a No. 8 ranking.
Meanwhile, Queensborough makes a return trip to the CUNYAC Championship, after sporting a 7-3 overall ledger and a 2-1 record against CUNYAC opposition.
