Box Score New York, NY - The BMCC Panthers snapped their 7-game losing streak with an impressive 100-74 wire-to-wire victory over Queensborough CC. The Panthers got off to a hot start led by sophomore
Khalil Black (Queens, New York) who scored a game & career-high 34 points, with 25 of those coming in the 1st half. The Queens, NY, native connected on six 1st half trifectas and went an impressive 7-7 from the charity stripe in the opening half. Impressive Panther defense, led by sophomore
Nick Baksh (Brooklyn, New York), rejecting multiple field goal attempts from the QCC Tigers, saw BMCC take a commanding 61-37 lead into the half. The second stanza was more of the same as the lead ballooned to over 30 points for the Panthers with contributions from everyone including
Amar Loadholt (Brooklyn, New York), who finished with 19 points including 5-5 from the free throw line &
Nick Baksh (Brooklyn, New York), who finished the game with a 2nd straight double digit output including a couple of prodigious dunks to the excitement of the Panther crowd.
With the win, the Panthers improve to (3-7 overall, 3-2 CUNY) and will look to finish the 1st semester on a high note as they travel to Long Island this Saturday, December 14th to take on the Sharks of Suffolk County Community College.
