New York, NY  |  The CUNY Athletic Conference College Basketball Tournament tips off next week, with both men's and women's basketball teams in action during the opening round. The action will tipoff on Tuesday the 16th and conclude with the championship game on Friday the 19th, all tournament games will be hosted in BMCC Gymnasium.

After picking up four wins in conference play, the Lady Panthers will take on the #1 seeded LaGuardia Red Hawks. In their first meeting of the season, LaGuardia hit a buzzer-beating layup to win 62-64. The Lady Panthers will have the chance to avenge their regular season loss this Tuesday night at 8pm. With a win, BMCC will take on the winner of the other first round matchup between the #2 Bronx Broncos and #3 Hostos Caimans.

On the men's side, the Panthers earned a #4 seed after a 12-10 season, including a 4-6 record in conference play. With 3 teams in the CUNYAC gridlocked at 6 wins apiece, the men's bracket will be determined after the conclusion of conference play. The Panthers game will tipoff at 8pm on Wednesday night.
