Bronx, N.Y. – The BMCC Panthers lost 89-48 Saturday afternoon against CUNY rival Hostos Community College.

Ralph Ayala was aggressive for the Panthers scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, both career highs. Tim Pandolfi chipped in with eight points.

The Caimans were led by Jerrel Meriwether's game-high 22 points. Tyree White chipped in with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

The Panthers fell behind early and were unable to recover. With just over 10 minutes gone in the 1^st half, the Caimans led 30-8.

The Panthers return to action Tuesday night when they travel to take on Bronx Community College. Tip-off is 7pm.
