Bayside, N.Y. -  The BMCC men's basketball team held off CUNYAC rival Queensborough Community College 53-50 to secure a spot in the CUNY playoffs.

The Panthers were led by Tim Pandolfi who scored 17 points. Hasan Mati chipped in with 15 points. Akeem Williams grabbed 15 rebounds.

The Panthers return to action Tuesday night when they travel to Brooklyn to take on Kingsborough Community College. Tip-off is 8pm.
