Men’s Basketball Tops Rockland 80-75

Elijah Bryant and Ken Coar powered the Panthers to their sixth win of the season

Box Score SUFFERN, NY| The Borough of Manhattan Community College men's basketball team defeated Rockland Community College 80-75 on the road Tuesday evening. BMCC improves 6-1 (1-0 CUNYAC) on the season with the win.

Freshman Kenneth Coar and sophomore Akeem Williams both recorded double-doubles in the win; the former scored 22 points and grabbed 10 boards and the latter potted 13 and added 14 rebounds.

Leading scorer Elijiah Bryant stepped up for the Panthers again and scored 19 points.

The Panthers sre back in action on Thursday, November 20 when they welcome Dutchess Community College to campus for Homecoming. The women get started at 5:30 PM and the men will follow them at 7:30 PM. Be sure to join us for contests and prizes!
