Selden, N.Y. – The BMCC Panthers lost 57-40 to the Suffolk Sharks on Thursday night at Suffolk Community College gymnasium.

Brandon Herriot led the Panthers with 12 points and seven rebounds.  Akeem Williams grabbed 12 rebounds, his 6^th consecutive game with double-digit rebounds.  Ralph Ayala and Tim Pandolfi each scored eight points.

The Sharks (13-3) were led by Armand Correa's game-high 13 points. Chris Millender finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds and Ruben Terrero had 11 rebounds to go along with eight points.

Trailing by only three points at halftime, the Panthers (7-13, 2-4 CUNYAC) kept it close throughout the 2^nd half. Down 33-32 with just over 10 minutes remaining, the Sharks stepped it up going on a 17-1 run to take an insurmountable 50-33 lead.

The Panthers return to action Saturday afternoon against when they travel to the Bronx to take on CUNY rival Hostos Community College. Tip-off is 3pm.
