Panthers Comeback Falls Short

Box Score The BMCC Panthers lost 64-55 to the Queensborough Tigers Monday night. The Panthers were down by 16 at halftime and as much as 22 in the 2nd half but cut that lead to 5 with just over 5 minutes to play.

The Panthers were led by a trio of sophomore's, Valon Djambolic, Taishaun Jenkins and Andrew Weinstein. Djambolic had another double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, Jenkins had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Weinstein had 10 points.

The team's ultimate undoing was the fact that it committed 22 turnovers and they only shot 33% from the field.

The Panthers play Wednesday February 13th at Sullivan Community College and Senior Night is Thursday, February 14th, come out to BMCC and show your support for the graduating seniors.
