Panthers Drop CUNY Game to Kingsborough

New York, N.Y. - The BMCC Panthers fell 73-66 to CUNYAC rival Kingsborough Community College on Thursday night at the BMCC Gymnasium.

The Panthers (4-7) has three players score in double figures, led by freshman Joseph Ojo's team-high 16 points. Sophomore Brandon Herriot chipped in with 15 points and five rebounds and Tim Pandolfi had 12 points. Sophomore Akeem Williamsgrabbed a game-high 17 rebounds and had five blocks.

The Wave (3-7) had two players get to double figures, led by Eddie Kinloch's game-high 20 points. Cashawn McFadden chipped in with 17 points.

The Wave led the game 27-25 at halftime and the 2nd half remained close throughout the period. The Panthers best shot to take a lead came with just over six minutes left in the half. Herriot made a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 59-57 and after a McFadden turnover, Ojo made a layup to even the score at 59 with 6:16 to go. However that would be the last time the Panthers would be that close.

The Panthers return to action Saturday, December 14th when the Bronx Broncos come to the BMCC Gymnasium. Tip-off is at 1:00pm.
