Box Score Kingsborough's Cashawn McFadden hit a 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left to give the Kingsborough CC Wave a 79-78 victory over the BMCC Panthers.
The Panthers were led by Sophomore Taishaun Jenkins (Brooklyn, NY) 23 points and Sophomore Valon Djombalic's (Brooklyn, NY) 18 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Christian Best (Brooklyn, NY) dished out eight assists but it wasn't enough to with stand a torrid second half shooting performance the by Wave.
BMCC (6-9, 3-3) led 41-28 at the half but McFadden scored 21 of his game high 30 points in the second half and as a team the Wave hit 8 of 13 from behind the arc.
The Panthers return home tomorrow, January 24th for the beginning of a four game home stand, when they host SUNY Rockland Fighting Hawks. Come out to BMCC and show your support!
