Utica, New York - Freshman Lea Reimer (Paderborn, Germany) couldn't have imagined a better way to end her Outdoor Track and Field season. Reimer opened the season by punching her ticket to Nationals and concluded it on Thursday evening on the opening day of the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York, by putting the nation on notice, becoming the BMCC Track and Field program's first-ever USTFCCCA (United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) All-American selection. Reimer posted her fourth straight top-ten finish of the season, crossing the tape in eighth to clinch All-American honors with a time of 48:17.48.
The Panthers men's 4x100 relay team, Christian Davis (Queens, New York), Kwame Brempong (Brooklyn, New York), Dontate Creedland (Brooklyn, New York), and Joshua Germain (Brooklyn, New York), also competed against the cream of the crop from around the nation, finishing 14th overall with a time of 46.15.
