New York, New York - On Friday afternoon, the BMCC men's and women's track and field team competed at the Fasttrack National Invite at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York. The Panthers men's team competed in three events, while Kylah Hetmeyer (Brooklyn, New York) was the lone women's runner in the 200 meters.
Freshmen
Christian Davis (Queens, New York) and Kwame Brempong (Brooklyn, New York) both competed in the Men's 60 meters, finishing with times of 7.78 and 7.91. Classmate
Joshua Germain (Brooklyn, New York) laced it up in the 200 meters, clocking in with a time of 24.41.
Davis suited up in the Men's long jump, posting a best of 5.71 meters out of his three attempts to finish 37th.
Hetmeyer finished with a time of 30.92 in the women's 200 meters.
The Panthers will suit up next week for the Program's first-ever CUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championship appearance on Sunday, February 18, at 4 p.m. at the New Balance Armory in New York, New York. For more information, please visit the
