New York, New York - The BMCC men's track and field team suited up for the Program's second-ever meet on Friday evening at the NYU Invitational at the New Balance Armory in New York, New York. The Panthers competed in a total of six events on the evening.
Christian Davis (Queens, New York) and Kwame Brempong (Brooklyn, New York) both laced it up in the men's 60-meter and 200-meter. Davis and Brempong finished 30th and 36th in the 60 meters with times of 7.67 and 7.89, while classmate Joshua Germain (Brooklyn, New York) was the top finisher alongside them in the 200 meters, finishing with a time of 24.40. Davis and Brempong clocked in with times of 25.28 and 26.07.
Germain posted his best finish of the day in the Men's 400-meter, crossing the tape in 37th at 55.58, while As Mouhamadou Ndiaye (Brooklyn, New York) finished with a time of 57.35. Peter Rodriguez Reyes (Bronx, New York) was the Panther's best runner in the men's 800-meter, crossing the finish line at 2:12.64, while Michael Sing (Levittown, New York) and Trent Santoro (Queens, New York) finished with times of 2:22.71 and 2:22.74.
Santoro joined Tatenda Chikanyairo (Fort Lee, New Jersey) in the Panther's final event of the evening in the Men's 1 Mile, clocking in at 5:15.04 and 5:24.42.
