New York, New York - Going into a four-game set against 2022 CUNYAC CC Championship runner-up Bronx Community College and sporting their first winning streak since 2018, three members of the BMCC Baseball team have etched their name into the NJCAA Division III statistical rankings. After going 7-for-9 (.778 batting average) with seven hits (three doubles), six steals, and five RBIs last week in his two games against Queensborough, sophomore Frank Reyes (Brooklyn, New York) is currently ranked third in the country with a .625 batting average and fourth in the nation in on-base percentage at .684

Rodriguez-Reyes was also one of the five BMCC players to register a multi-hit game last Tuesday, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four hits and four runs scored, both tying a game-best to go along with three RBIs and two doubles.

The Central Park East High School product was a big part of the Panther's three-run seventh inning to tie the game at five during a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over Queensborough Community College on Friday, registering a lead-off single and scoring the first of three panther runs in the inning while recording a steal.

Mattera scored a game-best four runs and also registered a multi-hit game with three hits during the Panther's 17-5 victory against the Tigers on Tuesday.
