Bronx, New York - The Borough of Manhattan Community College women's cross country team suited up for the final time of the season against a competitive field at the 2022 CUNYAC Cross County Championships in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Freshmen Maria Torres (Bronx, New York) and Alyssa Abrahams (Kingston, Jamaica) recorded the best finishes of their career in the 6K to end the season amongst 60 runners.
Torres crossed the finish line in 32nd place with a time of 37:03.6, a career-best, while Abrahams finished a career-high 48th with a time of 46:38.7.
