Reimer Earns Medal For Top 20 Finish In Women’s 5K At Queensborough Invitational

Sophomore Lea Reimer finished 11th out of 145 competitors from NCAA and NJCAA institutions on Sunday afternoon and earned a medal for a Top 20 finish.

Bronx, New York - Sophomore Lea Reimer (Paderborn, Germany) added another piece of hardware to her display case, posting a top-20 finish and picking up a medal at the Queensborough Invitational on a hot Sunday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park. Reimer finished 11th out of 145 competitors from NCAA and NJCAA institutions, crossing the tape with a time of 23:14.0.

Freshman Ashley Goris Rosado (New York, New York) also had a big afternoon, posting a new personal best with a time of 33:24.6.
