New York, New York - As Week 4 of NJCAA Esports competition concluded, The Borough of Manhattan Community College Call of Duty Cold War squad
Aisha Ellis (Queens, NY),
Christian Vasquez (Brooklyn, NY),
Jarrett Thomas (Brooklyn, NY),
Jose Brazoban (Bronx, NY),
Justin Jacobs (Queens, NY),
Pablo Romero (Queens, NY), and
Raheem Redway (Yonkers, NY) on Friday evening during a 2-0 defeat of Nassau Community College. After his first two individual matches ended in victories via forfeit to begin 2021,
Thomas looked unaffected in his first live one-on-one action keeping his pedal to the medal and knocking off Navarro College's Carlton Dodd, 2-0, on Thursday evening.
Both victories put
Thomas into a tie for first-place and Call of Duty Cold War alone in second place.
The Panthers Call of Duty Cold War squad will look to keep it on that dial Friday, March 12 at 5 p.m. against Madison College.
Thomas will look to remain atop the standings, and fellow NBA2K1 competitor
Caleb Miller (Brooklyn, NY) will look to bounce back against John Wood Community College and Southwestern Oregon Community College this Thursday, March 11, at 6 p.m.

Gamalier Rodriguez (New York, NY) got back in the win column via forfeit against Central Wyoming College.

Bryan Vallejos (New York, NY) picked up a victory in a similar fashion against Peninsula College. Both squads will look to keep up their ways this Monday, March 8, and Thursday, March 11 at 5 p.m. against Lincoln Land Community College and Wake Technical Community College.

Call Of Duty Warzone captain
Aisha Ellis (Queens, NY) was the story of the week for the Panthers competing shorthanded and giving Northeastern Technical College all they could handle in a 2-1 loss on Wednesday evening.
Ellis took the first game of the matchup playing in a two-on-one format and almost took two other matches as well, making a statement about this squad's strength going into the rest of the season. Her cohorts will look to get back at it this Wednesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. against Nassau Community College.
After completing a sweep last week, all three Panther's individuals fell in their respective Super Smash Brothers contests on Tuesday evening.
Jonathan Wegter (Brooklyn, NY) and
Abel Perez (Bronx, NY) fell against Mott Community College 4-1 and 4-0, while
Minaya was edged by Monroe Community College's Sean Malmstrom, 4-2.
Perez and
Wegter will look to return to the win column this Tuesday, March 9, at 5 p.m. against Madison College while
Minaya has a bye week.
