New York, New York | Coming off a second-straight regular-season title and a fifth straight appearance in the CUNYAC Community College Conference final, The Borough of Manhattan Department of Athletics has released the men's soccer schedule for the upcoming 2019 campaign.
 
The 11-match slate includes three CUNYAC contests. BMCC will host four games at Pier 40 and their home finale at Kingsborough Athletics field while traveling away for the other five.
 
The Panthers kick off the 2019 season at home against Monroe College on Friday afternoon, September 6 (Noon). Four days later, BMCC will begin CUNYAC play on the road against Bronx Community College on Tuesday, September 10 at 3:30 p.m. The Panthers will then travel to Paramus, NJ to take on Bergen C.C. on Saturday afternoon, September 14 at 1:00 p.m., before playing three straight matches at Pier 40.
 
A season-long three-game homestand follows as BMCC will host defending CUNYAC champion Queensborough Community College (Tuesday, September 17), Orange County C.C. (Thursday, September 19), and Rockland C.C. (Saturday, September 21). The Panthers will close out the month on the road at Nassau Community College (Tuesday, September 24) at 6 p.m. and in CUNYAC competition (Saturday, September 28) at 2 p.m.
 
October opens with two straight road games. The Panthers will play at Dutchess C.C. on Thur., Oct. 1 (7 p.m.), and then travel to Westchester C.C. on Sat., Oct. 5 (1 p.m.). BMCC wraps up the regular season portion of the schedule with a home match against Suffolk C.C. on Thur., Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
 
The 2019 CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Game will take place on the evening of Monday, October 14, which will feature the two CUNYAC schools with the best conference records during the regular season. BMCC is seeking a sixth straight appearance in the CUNYAC title game and their first championship since 2017.
 
The Panthers bring back several talented sophomores, headlined by 2018 CUNYAC Rookie of the Year Adrian Santos (Madrid, Spain), who finished second on the team with four assists and third with 12 points and four tallies. Classmates Edison Burgos (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and Ariel Ortega (Cuenca, Ecuador) both earned CUNYAC Community College All-Star honors and combined for 18 starts.
