New York, New York | BMCC freshman guard Asani Springer (Brooklyn, New York) received CUNY Rookie of The Week honors after her performance in the Panther's conference road loss at Kingsborough Community College last Wednesday.

Springer recorded a team-high 18 points with a team-best 5-for-14 shooting in the Panther's 61-45 loss to Kingsborough last week in BMCC's only matchup. The Brooklyn native also went a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe, which was a season-high. 

The Panthers will continue their four-game road trip next Saturday, Nov. 16, against Regional opponent Nassau Community College. The opening tip is slated for 1 p.m.
