Men's Soccer Wins Fourth in a Row

The Panthers defeated Rockland 2-0 on the road

Box Score SUFFERN, NY| The Borough of Manhattan Community College men's soccer team defeated Rockland Community College 2-0 in Suffern, NY on Saturday afternoon. The win is the Panthers' fourth in a row and improves their overall record to 5-1 on the season.

Forward Jonathan Lopez opened the scoring in the second half when he finished off a feed from Ryo Koiso. Koiso would show up on the scoresheet later in the half, when he was credited with a goal with the assist going to Abdul Muftau, who extends his point-streak to four games (six points).

Keeper Randy Zacarias was forced to make multiple game-saving stops in the second half to preserve his side's lead. Zacarias has allowed just one goal during BMCC's four-game win-streak.

Up next for the Panthers is Nassau Community College, who they face on Wednesday, October 1 in Garden City, NY at 6:00 PM.
