| Box Score 2 New York, N.Y. -  The Lady Panthers soccer and volleyball teams were both in action Tuesday night, both playing home games.

The BMCC Lady Panthers soccer team returned to action Tuesday night against Nassau Community College at Pier 40. The Lady Panthers lost the game 5-0, their second consecutive defeat to Nassau.
Outstanding goalkeeping from Luye Murphy and Maria Llivisaca kept Nassau from tacking on more goals. After getting four goals in the 1st half, Llivisaca replaced Murphy in goal and stopped all but one of Nassau's shots.
The Lady Panthers nearly got a goal in the closing seconds but the buzzer sounded before the goal crossed the line.
They fall to 1-4 on the season and return to action next week with three Region XV games.

Back on campus, in the gymnasium the Lady Panthers volleyball team took on Suffolk Community College for the second time in three matches. The Lady Panthers got ahead early in the 1st set 5-0 but Suffolk came back to win the set 25-8. Suffolk dominated the final two sets only allowing the Lady Panthers to score 13 points in the final two sets.
The Lady Panthers are still looking for their 1st win of the season and return to action this weekend with two double-duels on Saturday and Sunday.
