Felix Puno III Named Head Coach for Women's Volleyball
NEW YORK, NY - The BMCC Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Felix Puno III as the new Women's Volleyball Head Coach. Felix brings a wealth of experience to BMCC from his playing background as well as his coaching experience at the club, high school and collegiate level. In addition to his current club coaching at Asphalt Green, Felix also recently served as the Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach at Baruch College.
The Panthers finished the 2025 season with a record of 7-13 overall (7-3 in conference) having missed out on the NJCAA Region XV postseason for the 3rd consecutive season. Coach Pumo will look to build a program that will compete at the conference and region level on a yearly basis!
Tryouts for the 2026 team will be held on Friday, August 21st at 6:30pm in the BMCC Gymnasium with the regular season opening on September 15th at Bronx Community College!
