Box Score Led by their pressure defense, BMCC Lady Panthers (10-6, 6-1) defeated Kingsborough CC Wave Tuesday night 68-44. The Lady Panthers improved to 6-1 in conference play and enter the final month of the season in first place in CUNYAC.

Sophomore Emani Odom (New York, NY) led all scorers with 18 points; she also keyed the team defense, contributing five steals. Sophomore Aiyana Harris (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 15 points and five steals. In total, the team forced 23 turnovers.

The Lady Panthers put the game out of reach in the last eight minutes of the first half when they went on a 23-4 run to take a commanding 33-16 half-time lead.

Freshman Elesha Dieudonne (Brooklyn, NY) had nine points and 16 rebounds and Sophomore Denea Fleary (Queens, NY) had 10 points and six rebounds.

The Lady Panthers begin a four game home stand starting tomorrow, January 24th, when they host SUNY Rockland Fighting Hawks. Come on out to BMCC and show your support.
