Ewing, New Jersey – The BMCC women's outdoor track and field team suited up Saturday morning at the Lions Invitational, which The College of New Jersey hosted. The Panthers competed in four events at the meet.
Maria Godoy Forno De Stein (Guatemala City, Guatemala) posted two personal bests in the women's 200 and 400 meters, crossing the finish line with times of 32.75 and 1:14.25.
Kylah Hetmeyer (Brooklyn, New York) also competed in the women's 200 meters and was the team's lone runner in the women's 800 meters, posting times of 32.93 and 2:50.70.
An Ling Zhu (Brooklyn, New York) set a new personal best in the women's 1500 meters crossing the tape with a time of 7:00.88.
The Panthers will look to have another strong showing at the CUNYAC Track and Field Championships, as they did during the winter season when they lace up at the Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships next Saturday, May 4, at 9 a.m. at Icahn Stadium.
