New York, New York - BMCC women's soccer freshman Lizbeth Vazquez (Puebla, Mexico) landed on the All-Region 15 First Team, and classmate Lova Hammer (Stockholm, Sweden) was named to the All-Region Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the Region on Monday. The honor is the first for both players.

Vazquez made three starts and finished the season tied first on the Panthers in shots with six during the 2022 season. She recorded a season-high three shots twice on the road in the opener against Ulster County Community College and Nassau Community College.

Hammer was the heart and soul of the Panthers women's soccer team, starting all four matches on the 2022 campaign.
