New York, NY---The Borough of Manhattan Community College men's basketball squad lost their third game of the season, falling to Monroe Express, 100-64.
"A much better first half," said head men's basketball coach,
Tommy Keenan. "But as a team, we need to start realizing that college basketball is 40 minutes, not twenty."
The Panthers were lead by team captain
Jeremiah Cardi, who had a career-low 13 points, and
William Brown, who had 11 points and grabbed three rebounds.
"Just looking for our guards to protect the ball and limit turnovers," said Coach Keenan. "We do not protect the ball well enough to be consistent. With that being said, I was happy to have Emmanuel [Adenekan] back, and I think we will become a better team as he gets stronger. He's a tough match-up."
The Panthers drop to 1-3 with the loss. Non-conference play continues this Saturday on the road against the Dutchess Community College Falcons.Â
