Poughkeepsie, NY--- Despite their best defensive effort of the season, the Borough of Manhattan Community College men's squad fell to the Dutchess Community College Falcons in their fourth straight loss of the season. Their first and only win was to Kingsborough CC in their season opener. Nevertheless, this loss marks the closest deficit of their losing streak.
"I was so proud of my guys today," said head men's basketball coach,
Tommy Keenan. "For 40 minutes we fought hard, and we haven't done that in a long time. I was happy with the way Will Brown played this afternoon, he was the best guard on the floor at times."
William Brown posted a team-high twenty points, his biggest single-game contribution of the season. He also posted three steals, two assists, and two rebounds.
"We also got some great numbers from Emmanuel [Adenekan] and Spencer [Barnes] today," added Coach Keenan.
Emmanuel Adenekan added six points, and grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds.
Spencer Barnes had nine points on the evening and grabbed three rebounds.
The Panthers fall to 1-4 with the loss. CUNYAC play picks back up against Hostos Community College in a double-header at home on Tuesday, November 23, where they will look for their second conference win.
