Box Score 2 Bronx, NY | The Lady Panthers teams were in action on Thursday evening, with the women's volleyball team catching a ride on the 4 train for a match against the Bronx Broncos while the women's soccer team travelled upstate to square off against the Dutchess Falcons. Both teams came home victorious as BMCC soccer edged out the Falcons for a 2-1 win and the volleyball team finished off the Broncos in straight sets to complete the season sweep.

Taylor Roach pushed her scoring total to a team-high 5 goals on the season by netting a pair of goals against the Falcons. Her first score came early in the first half and she added on a much needed insurance goal in the 70
th minute off of an assist from
Yosselin Alvarez. With the win, the Lady Panthers are back at .500 (3-3) for the season, and will look to improve when they take on the Nassau Lions in back-to-back matches.
The BMCC volleyball team currently sits at second in the Region 15 standings with a 5-1 record following the win against Bronx Community College. The Lady Panthers will be looking to push their win streak to five straight when they travel to Garden City, NY for a doubleheader against the Suffolk Sharks and Nassau Lions.
