Box Score The BMCC Lady Panthers lost a nail-bitter 49-47 to Suffolk Lady Sharks on Thursday night.

The Lady Panthers were led by Emani Odom's 18 points and five assists and Elesha Dieudonne continued her strong rebounding, posting 15 rebounds while also contributing nine points. This was the sixth straight double digit rebounding game for the freshman from Brooklyn.

The Lady Panthers who fell to 11-8 on the season, led 26-25 at the half but Suffolk started the second half on a 16-4 run to take a 41-30 lead with just over 11 minutes remaining. Odom and Dieudonne each made layups to chip away at the lead and a jump shot by Sophomore Ashley Coffee (Staten Island, NY) got the Lady Panthers within three at 45-42 with just over 3 minutes to play, Coffee finished with eight points on the night. The Lady Panthers had a chance to tie or take the lead but a full-court pass with 3.0 seconds to play got intercepted and time ran out. 

The Lady Panthers last home game is Saturday February 2, when they play the SUNY Orange Colts, its Senior Night so come out to the gymnasium and show your support!!
