Box Score The BMCC Lady Panthers survived a furious second half comeback to defeat the Dutchess Lady Falcons 63-61 on Saturday. The Lady Falcons started the 2nd half on a 20-5 run to pull within three points at 46-43 with 11:43 to go in the game.

If not for a 13-2 run to take a 41-23 halftime lead the Lady Panthers would not have been able to weather the Lady Falcons 2nd half onslaught. Sophomore Denea Fleary (Queens, NY) paced the Lady Panthers with 18 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and Sophomore Emani Odom had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The Lady Panthers shared the ball extremely well dishing out 19 assists on 28 made field goals.

The Lady Falcons took a 55-54 lead with 5:23 left in the game but Fleary hit a clutch 3 pointer to give the Lady Panthers a 57-55 lead with 3:17 to go and they would hold on for victory.
