Box Score The Lady Panthers, winners of their last two home games lost a heart-breaking game to the Hostos CC Lady Caimans. BMCC, (8-5, 5-1) suffered their first conference loss of the season, in a hard fought game in which no team had more than a five point lead.

The Lady Panthers were led by Sophomore Denea Fleary, (Queens, NY) who notched a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds and Sophomore Gabrielle Alleyne (Brooklyn, NY)  who had a game high 18 points, all coming in the second half. Fleary controlled the defensive glass snatching up 11 of her 15 on that end. Alleyne, who didn't play in the first half, rallied the Lady Panthers by making her first six shots upon entering the game. Sophomore Aiyanna Harris (Brooklyn, NY) and Freshaman Emani Odom (New York, NY) combined for 7 assists.

The Lady Panthers hit the road for their next three games, first of which will be Thursday January 17th against the Lady Bulldogs of Bergen Community College. The Lady Panthers return home on Thursday January 24th when they play the SUNY Rockland Lady Hawks. Come out to BMCC and show your support.
