Quran Dublin breaks BMCC scoring record in 113-89 win over Monroe Express

New York, NY | Entering Thursday night's contest against the Monroe Express, Quran Dublin was five points shy of tying the BMCC modern era scoring record. With his second three pointer of the game, Dublin passed the Panthers scoring record of 723 set by Kenneth Coar in 2016. The sophomore guard finished the night with a career-high 8 three pointers as BMCC cruised past Monroe 113-89 for their 10th consecutive win.

After dropping 26 points against the Express, Dublin shattered the previous record and remains on pace to reach 1000 career points by the end of the season. While the night belonged to Dublin, his teammate Terrell Fullerton led the Panthers on offense by going 11 for 15 from the field with 10 assists. By racking up 31 points, Fullerton moved to third on the all-time scoring list for BMCC in the modern era. Sophomore forward Viktor Kovacevic was an efficient 6 for 8 from the field on his way to 13 points, while freshman guard Amir Davis provided a spark off the bench with 8 points.

The Panthers will look to make it 11-0 this Saturday when they travel to Poughkeepsie, NY to take on the Dutchess Falcons. Tip off is set for 2pm.
