Bellerose, NY - Following another loss to the Nassau Lions on Monday, the Panthers losing streak against Region XV opponents extends to 8 games. With 6 games remaining in the season, the Panthers are chasing the Bronx Broncos for the final spot in the regional playoffs. They currently sit just 2 games behind of their conference rivals, and will need to pull off an upset against the region-leading Suffolk Sharks this week to earn a postseason berth.

The Panthers have the opportunity to move up the standings this Wednesday when they take on the Kingsborough Wave. After the Wave won back-to-back games in Brooklyn, the Panthers will have a shot at redemption tomorrow at Preller Field.
