Garden City, NYÂ |Â The men's basketball team hit the road on Saturday to take on their regional opponent the Nassau Lions. The Panthers were looking to end their opponent's 3-game win streak and win their first game of the new year. Unfortunately, the Panthers road woes would continue as they were unable to pull out a win against the Lions. The men's team was held to a season-low, 56 points, for their 2nd consecutive loss, and now drop to 7-7 overall, with a 6-6 record in the region.In the loss,
Brandon Williams scored a team-high 13 points while grabbing 6 defensive rebounds, Sophomore
Jamel Harris added on with 9 points of his own, while
Matthew Boyd tallied 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The men's team will be back at home this Thursday to take on the Suffolk Sharks at 7pm.
