Selden, NY |  BMCC Men's Basketball pushed their win streak to 3-in-a-row with a 96-89 victory over the Suffolk Sharks. After a 5-0 run to start the game, the Panthers ended up trailing by 13 early on in the first half, but they would rally back with a 3 point lead entering the second half. A key to their success was Kenneth Coar returning to his All-American form, the team captain erupted for 22 points and 14 rebounds, while keeping the Sharks out of the paint with 3 blocks.

Following his NJCAA Player of the Week performance, Brandon Williams started this week off on the right foot, putting up 19 points and dishing out 3 assists. Already one of the top 5 three-point shooters in the nation, Jamel Harris continued to make it rain as he went 4-5 from behind the arc on his way to 16 points. Matthew Boyd was a facilitator on offense tonight, giving out a team-high 6 assists while scoring 17 points of his own. The Panthers bench came up big tonight, with Neil Veira and Moello Williams combining for 20 points in limited minutes.

The men's team will look to make it 4-in-a-row this Saturday when they travel to the Bronx to take on the Hostos Caimans.
