BELLEROSE, NY| The Borough of Manhattan Community College baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader with CUNY Athletic Conference rival Kingsborough Community College on Saturday afternoon in Bellerose, NY. Kingsborough swept the regular-season series 4-0 and improved to 7-5 (7-5 CUNYAC) on the season, while the Panthers fall to 1-13 (1-7).Â
After defeating the Panthers 14-6 on Friday afternoon, The Wave cruised to 11-0 and 19-3 victories in Saturday's doubleheader.

Freshman Christopher Garcia (0-2) got the start in game one and allowed 11 runs through three innings. Frandy Nunez came in to start the fourth inning and pitched two scoreless innings, striking out two. Second baseman Reginald German went 2-2 with two singles.

Miguel Salas (0-3) was the starter in game two, and the Brooklyn, NY native pitched five innings, allowing ten runs. Gerson Perez came in relief in the sixth and allowed nine runs. Third baseman Mario Padron went 1-2 with two RBI's and a stolen base in the loss.
The Panthers return to action tomorrow, Sunday, April 12 for a doubleheader with the Globe Institute of Technology at 12:00 PM at Padavan-Preller Complex in Bellerose, NY.
