New York, NY  | The Panthers ran past the Burlington County Barons in their first game of the season, with a final score of 78-59. Kenneth Coar and Brandon Williams led all scorers with 21 apiece. With 13 boards, Coar would finish the game with a double-double. The second year forward was impacting shots the entire game, he would go on to finish with 4 blocks. Team Captain Jamel Harris led the team with 7 assists, while Mercy College transfer Matthew Boyd dished out 6 assists and added on with 6 points of his own.

After starting the season with a win, the Panthers will return to action this Saturday at noon when they take on the Ulster Senators right here at BMCC Gymnasium.
