New York, NY  | The Lady Panthers squared off against CUNYAC opponent, the Queensborough Tigers for homecoming night. Behind 23 points from Kiara Atkins, BMCC walked away with a 57-48 victory over their cross-town rivals.

This was the second consecutive 20+ point performance for the freshman guard, Atkins added on with 6 steals and 6 assists. Ashley Brooks recorded her 3^rd double-double of the season with 13 points and 22 rebounds. Mia Lashley provided lockdown defense off the bench, the freshman was recorded 5 steals in less than 2 quarters of play.

The women's basketball team will return to action in a BMCC doubleheader against the Hostos Caimans next Tuesday at 5:30.
