Women’s Volleyball Defeats Bronx in CUNYAC Showdown

The Lady Panthers swept the Broncos 3-0

BRONX, NY| The Borough of Manhattan Community College women's volleyball team won its second game of the season Tuesday evening, defeating Bronx Community College 3-0 on the road. With the win, the Lady Panthers improve to 2-5 on the season and 2-4 and CUNYAC play.

BMCC won in straight sets for the first time this season, clinching set one 25-12, set two 25-14 and set three 25-19.

Jennifer Santos was the driving force for the visitors, leading BMCC in kills (5), digs (8) and service aces (8) in the victory. Setter Kaina Bazard registered a season-high 15 assists.

Up next for the Lady Panthers is Union County College on Saturday, October 4 at 1:15 PM at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
