The BMCC Panthers lost again Tuesday, to the Suffolk Sharks, 14-8. The Panthers continued their hot hitting scoring 29 runs over their last three games.
Freshman centerfielder
Darlin Veloz continued his hot hitting going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two walks. Veloz has scored six runs over the Panthers current hot streak and also collected five hits. Freshman
Josh Smith went 3-for-4 with a run scored and
Wilson Aristy went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI. Sophomore
Ariel Torres went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI as well.
The Panther pitchers had trouble locating pitches; between three pitchers they combined to walk 19 batters.
The Panthers finish out the season series with Suffolk this week. The next game is this Friday, April 5th with two away games on Saturday at Suffolk's campus.
