The BMCC Panther baseball team kicked off CUNY play yesterday against Kingsborough Community College, the Panthers lost 9-0 in 7 innings.
Freshman
Daniel Mota started for the Panthers but lasted only three innings before coming out with an injury. Mota (Bronx, NY) tossed three innings, gave up three hits and struck out three batters. He gave up six runs, three of which were earned.
In the top of the 3rd three consecutive errors led to the 3 unearned runs scored by the Wave.
Freshman centerfielder
Darlin Veloz was the lone bright spot offensively for the Panthers going 2/4.
The Panthers play three games this weekend against Kingsborough, one on Friday and a double-header on Saturday.
