New York, N.Y. – The BMCC Panthers defeated CUNY rival Queensborough Community College 88-82 on Tuesday night at the BMCC Gymnasium.
The Panthers (3-5) had a very balanced scoring attack with five players scoring in double digits. Sophomore
Akeem Williams led the Panthers with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Brandon Herriot and
Hasan Mati each had 15 with
Joseph Ojo chipping in with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Michael Hussein added 11 points.
The Tigers (0-5) were led by Joseph Turner who scored a game-high 25 points on 6-14 shooting from 3-point land. Joshua Williams added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Panthers return to action Tuesday December 3
rd when they take on the Hostos Caimans at 7:00 pm at the BMCC Gymnasium.
