Coach Rex has been an assistant with the soccer program since the 2013 season. In that time the Panthers have appeared in the CUNYACÂ Championship match each year and claimed two CUNYACÂ titles. In 2017, BMCCÂ earned the top seed in the region after finishing the regular season undefeated.Â
A graduate from Kinbu Senior High School in Accra, Ghana, Rex came to BMCCÂ to earn his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. While attending, he helped lead the Panthers to a CUNYACÂ Championship and a runner-up finish in the 2012 Region 15 Tournament.
After graduating from BMCC, Rex continued his education at John Jay College. In the Fall of 2016 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Criminal Justice.
Outside of his experience at BMCC, Rex has played midfielder and defender for multiple club teams, including Chelsea FC Bronx, Malawi FC, Copa NYC Ghana, and Upsetters FC.
