Panthers Continue Strong Start To XC Season At QCC Invitational
NEW YORK, NY - Panthers continued their strong start to the 2025 season with another impressive effort, this time at the 2025 QCC Invitational held at Van Cortlandt Park, in the Bronx, NY. Looking to continue their momentum from the MSMC Invitational to start the season, the Panthers did just that finishing 1st overall among NJCAA DIII men's teams. Which was also good enough for 10th overall. Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman
Thomas Black IV (Queens, New York) who recorded a time of 34:37.3; good for 40th overall. Joining Thomas in the top 50, was
William Fernandez (New York, New York) who finished 41st overall, a mere 1.5 seconds behind Thomas with a time of 34:38.8.
On the women's side, the Panthers were once again led by freshman
Keira Mireau (Queens, New York) who finished with a time of 30:30.3 and finished inside the top-100, placing 99th overall.
The Panthers are back in action on Saturday, October 11th, when they travel to the Garden State, to take part in the NJIT XC Invitational in Newark, NJ.
