NEW YORK, NY - Following a disappointing loss to start the 2025 season, the Panthers rebounded in a big way; defeating Bronx Community College in straight sets 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-13).  
 
Leading the offensive charge for the Panthers were Gina Arias (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and Sarah Sellami (Queens, New York) who each registered 5 kills in the victory. 
 
Sophomore Devon Vazquez (New York, New York) led the passing attack for the Panthers, finishing with a game-high 12 assists, to go along with 2 digs.  Wilyne Lincifort (Roosevelt, New York) led all players with 7 aces; followed closely by Sophomore Jaylynn Mateo (Brooklyn, New York) who registered 6 aces of her own.

The Panthers (1-1-0 Overall, 1-1-0 CUNY) will return to the court on Saturday, September 13th, when they travel to the Garden State to take on Middlesex County College.  The match is slated to start at 12pm.
