(New York, NY) - The Panthers returned to CUNY Conference play with a double header vs. Queensborough Community College. BMCC came into the series looking to put an end to their 4 game skid and they did just that taking game 1 by a score of 14-12. Sophomore
Michael Marra (Staten Island, NY) started the game on the mound for the Panthers, going an impressive 6.1 innings allowing only 3 hits while striking out 9 Tigers. At the plate, the Panthers were paced by Miami native Sophomore
Wiljer Casana (Miami, Florida), who went 5-6 from the plate including 3 doubles while driving in 3 runs and scoring 3 runs of his own.
The Tigers went on to salvage a split in the series with a 22-1 victory over the Panthers in game 2.
With the split, the Panthers improved to (2-13 Overall, 2-5 CUNY).

The Panthers will return to action on Friday, April 18th for the 2nd game of the 4-game series against Kingsborough CC at Kingsborough Field in Brooklyn, New York.
First pitch is scheduled for 1pm.
