(New York, NY) - Panthers traveled to Edison, NJ, on Wednesday night to take on the Colts of Middlesex CC. During the Panthers inaugural season of 2024, they lost both matches vs. the Colts by a score of 3-0 and were looking to exact some revenge this time around. Behind an outstanding team-effort, the Panthers were able to do just that securing their 2nd win of the season, with a thrilling 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23), victory in New Jersey.
Leading the offensive charge for the Panthers was Jeriel Peguero (Dominican Republic). The freshman had a game-high 14 kills. Overall, the Panthers had 3 players reach double-digit kills. Joining Peguero, were freshmen
Chance Longmore (Queens, New York) &
Sebastian Brath (Queens, New York), each of whom finished with 10 kills a piece.
Miguel Trejo, had another strong performance finishing with an impressive 43 assists in match. Additionally,
Bradley Campos (Queens, New York) finished with a game-high 25 digs.
With the win, the Panthers improve to 2-3 overall, 0-2 in region play.
